Terms

The agreement

By installing or using JEXXA you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the app.

What you get

A personal, non-transferable licence to use JEXXA on Macs you own or control, for as long as your subscription is active. The software itself is licensed, not sold.

Subscription and billing

Refunds

If JEXXA is not right for you, email hello@jexxa.org within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it. Refunding a payment ends access to the app.

What you agree not to do

Accuracy

JEXXA transcribes speech using a machine learning model, and models get things wrong. Read what it typed before you send it. It is not suitable as the sole record where accuracy is critical, such as medical, legal or safety documentation.

Availability

Dictation runs on your Mac and keeps working offline. The subscription check needs the internet occasionally; if it cannot reach us, the app keeps working for a grace period rather than stopping.

No warranty

JEXXA is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to JEXXA is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data or lost profits.

Ending it

You may stop using JEXXA at any time. We may end this licence if these terms are breached. Cancelling your subscription does not delete what is on your Mac — that is yours, and it stays there.
